From Dodge website.

"For 2005, Viper SRT-10 is available in a new hue—Viper Race Yellow. Also available are Viper Red, Viper Black and Viper Bright Silver Metallic. Later in the year, a special color-Copperhead Orange-will be available with a special interior package that includes black leather upholstery with contrasting orange stitching and shift knob accents."

As a regular viewer of the nature channel and Animal Planet, I am concerned about this color being used on a car named 'viper'. This is unnatural, and prospective owners should be aware that an "orange mamba" does not exist on this planet. My unwavering devotion to Dodge/Mopar notwithstanding, I urge you not to fall for this alleged marketing ploy to sell a few more cars! Let orange remain in the domains of duck hunters, traffic signs, and prison inmates. What racing team uses orange? Wouldn't you feel a little embarrassed to be seen in a car of this color? Sorry to vent, I just wanted to save anyone from making a HUGE mistake. I also suspect this to be a rumor that will never come to be.

The Orange has been listed numerous place ( including Road and Track ),but it will be produced later. The color shown in the picture is not exactly the color, but it is a much better representation than the one in DuPont - which was just plugged in for an ad. Dealers across the country will get this car, but it will probably be built in limited numbers.

I seriously hope it’s not going to be a flat orange; something like sparkling orange would be so much more unique.

I really like the look of that orange looks very much like the hemi/orange from the '70's. that looks like a factory car also, anyone know? looks like its got some the VCA and Mamba features and badging. I also like the wheels, car also looks lowered. Anyone know more about this car?

That DOES look very much like the Challenger orange of good old days gone by, in that light I think it would be a very good call of Dodge to produce SRT-10's in that color *hint hint, wink wink to Dodge* :2tu:
