Is the SRT \"Intake\" set-up by TNT (?) available to purchase?

Hello;

I was reading here a week or two ago that one of the Viper performance tuners was working on a phenomenal intake/filter set-up.

This set-up reportedly delivered something like 25hp and 25fp or more of extra performance. Is it available to purchase, what are the risks, and what company do I call?

My biggest concern is the obvious exposure of the filters to the elements. IVANHO posted about removing the black plastic "hood air-deflector baffle" as his "first mod". I think that "baffle/flap" is there to protect the filters by deflecting water and debris. Imagine driving in the rain without the baffle?

Do you all have any info, and what are your feelings (technically) about the potential to "drown" our engines?

That would be wishful thinking, the SRT intake seems to be a much improved design over the Gen 2 vipers and they don't even get 5 hp from the mod.

Look at some of the pictures posted by SRT owners and you will see the 2 large filters with smooth plastic delivery pipes going right into the throttle body. Maybe they meant an intake manifold replacement?

Actually, the tube from the filters to the throttle body is NOT smooth. It is like corrugated pipe for drainage. I bet a few HP is lost there.

UPDATE... I just spoke with Roy at TNT and they have the new filters ready NOW and he is working on a supercharger and a new exhaust will be ready in about a 1 week or so. The filters are worth a peak 29 HP!!!!

I confirm what Rob said. I just left TNT, I was there all day.
My car will be ready next week. But I did see the "Race Air Kit" and it looks awsome. Can't wait to see what the headers and exhust do next week.
