Is there a disadvantage to having the stock engine ventilation

Only if your getting blow by that allows oil to get sucked into the airbox, or if it gets there under hard braking.

Most have a line plumbed to a catch can with a breather on top. You don't want the engine to **** down the oil.

Very true, I think you will want to add a catch can as preventative maintenance. Oil in the airbox means detonation, why risk it?

I think mine is. How do i install the catch can and do i plug everything else ?
