Is there a market for a hood if I decide to sell mine?

What do they go for (Gen II hood)? I'm thinking of getting an aftermarket hood (Elite's louver design).. If I put it on Ebay, what is a good asking price?

$8k was probably feasable before Elite's hood came around.

New hood unpainted from the factory retails for like $15k-$16k

However, I seriously doubt anyone on this board would get one, when Elite's hood is better for less than half the price.

Unless they're some sort of "keep my car absolutely as it came from the factory" purist...

Im sure there are lots of ppl that want to keep the correct hood for their viper. who knows..? 3-4k seems awful cheap.
