is there a place to buy cheap Viper Fobs?

Hey,

I got my 98 viper gts this fall and it did come with two keys and two fobs. Unfortunately the way this house rolls, I lost one fob albready. Its kind of risky business having just one so i was wondering does anyone know a place that i can find a cheap replacement?

Got mine at the Dodge dealer, I think it was about $50.

No, I think it's more just irritation right now that I lost it so soon when I had two here. Just wait and see if i can find it...i do have all winter after all

The sure way to guarantee that you find the second one is to buy the third one. As soon as you buy it, the second will miraculously appear!

They can be reprogrammed, but when new... new = no program yet = no program to change

I called the dealers and they were charging a programming fee. Is this something we can program ourselves or is this something that the dealers have to do?

I don't have my manual handy but I recall its a 30second process to reprogram you fob...
