Is there such thing as paying below sticker?

I am in the market for my first viper.Question is?
1: Is it possible to get a Viper below sticker?
2: Do dealers try to ask over sticker?A couple of G'$ or so???
3: How did most of you guys bargain?

Sticker is normally over MSRP. I got mine for 5000 under sticker. Look around, check with some of the venders on this board.

I got mine for 5k under sticker as well. I didn't even have to haggle with him. Walked in, told the GM I was looking for a 00 viper, grabbed a cup of coffee, sat down for a couple minutes, he comes back in and says "ok" $69,000 and 7.3%. Took him a couple days to find one a dealer was willing to trade, but it was worth it.

Vehicle price depends on supply, demand, and participant knowledge, just like anything else. You can't buy a BMW M5 below sticker right now because there's a lot of demand, limited supply, and every BMW dealer knows the situation. Ferrari F360 Spyders command a substantial premium over sticker. New Vipers can be had for $2K over invoice from several sources.
