Block them as a sender. A phone call and an e-mail are two different things. One to one versus broadcast communication.

Nothing personal but you join the since last month with all of five posts and you are telling people to stay away from a site sponsor and respected dealer.

Welcome to the VCA.

Nothing personal taken. Just thought I'd share my experience with Buhler. Don't let the lack of posts fool you though. I am a supporter of sponsors and bought from Roanoke when I could have paid less from at another non-Viper specialist Dodge dealer. Much different treatment at Roanoke and pricing negotiation experience than Buhler. Again, just my experience. I guess Buhler didn't take me seriously. But they still keep emailing me :dunno:.

And Roanoke never called me despite several emails and a confirmation they got my number. It's just business, don't sweat it.

theviper,

Buhler would NEVER intentionally spam anyone. I've found their e-mails to be informative to sales and incentives. I've sent you a private e-mail, please respond with your e-mail address and I will gladly call Buhler's internet guru and straighten this out.

personally from another dealer stand point I think it is a great deal. I have an 08 that is priced about the same in a less desirable color that is used. Now it is a coupe with nav and only 25 miles but orange is a highly sought after color it baffels me that it is still around, besides it seems to fit the rest of your garage doesn't it? Either way someone is going to get a great deal it sounds like. Happy hunting.

The car was mine. Darren(Buhler ) and his fantastic staff at Buhler were nice enough to help me sell it after almost 6 months of trying to move the car myself thru various methods(i can not say enough great things about them ).The car showed new had 1800 miles on it and sold for 57000.00 Technically i was the second owner, i bought the car from a lady who won it on the Price Is Right last June with only 57 miles on it.

I'd stay away from Buhler. They keep sending me spam even though I've called and emailed them multiple times that I already bought a Viper from someone else. They were relatively "arrogant" with the pricing as well. And they didn't return my phone calls when I was looking for a Viper! I know some of you have had good experiences with them, but this is my experience. I'm still getting spam from them. Someone tell them that harassment is not a good way to get customers.
Nothing further from the truth as i have been dealing with the Buhler Auto Group since the 80s(my next Viper will be my fifth ) ,one simply can not find better people or a better dealership.

Just spoke to Justin and he realized what had happened. theviper had replied to the e-mail with "unsubscribe me", rather than the requested reply phrase of "remove". It wasn't picked up by the sofware as a delete.... SO, He's just added LOTS of variations to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Glad he was so proactive on this. As much as I enjoy a bit of advertising in my inbox every day.... I'm sure some do not.

well....69K is a great deal for an '08. Obviously, if we had all had waited then we could all have great deals on a 2008. I know some on here feel cheated somehow because they paid close to full sticker or even more, but hopefully, you bought the exact Viper that you wanted. I paid close to full sticker for mine, and I am very satisfied. Not because I spent 90K+, but because I was able to get the exact Viper that I wanted. It is very hard to find a Violet Viper. If you have bought an '08 for sticker and you feel cheated, just look out in your garage and smile, you bought a very nice car.

I am getting a great deal on this viper I think. But what people dont know is that I paid 9k over sticker for my 08 srt orange challenger last april. So..... It all evens out for car collectors like us.

Yeah it is VERY rare. That and orange roadsters! Only a handful of each were made and I have only seen two of each for sale since they were made.

Thank you Joe for your help. For clarification, I had told Joe that I never thought the sales people were rude at Buhler...the main problem was the emails I didn't want and, in my experience, the lack of relative negotiation in line with the current incentives. But Joe took care of the emails:).

To be honest, most Viper guys have been relatively pleasant to work with. However, I've had one salesman literally hang up on me when I asked him to negotiate off of MSRP...he was from University Dodge. That was in December of 08 when no one was selling at MSRP. Max Motors was many thousand above other dealers. So I'm not sure what their "lowest price in the country guarantee" means...maybe someone can clarify that one:dunno:.

have you tried Ringgold Dodge? I bought my orange 08 there and he had several in "January", but he was selling them pretty quick as well.

I didn't call them because they didn't have the color combo I was looking for...I did end up buying from Roanoke.

Ringgold is simply the best to deal with ... it is almost a no-brainer. Competence, professionalism, pricing ... they cannot be beat on those aspects. Of course those are about all the aspects one looks for ...
