This event is fast approaching!
If anyone is interested in meeting and perhaps taking the same ferry over Friday post here.

It was a great time last spring, should be even better in mid-summer. The accomodations are first class and the scenery will knock you out!

Greg;

We are trailering my Hennessey Coupe to the island earlier in the week to visit family ahead of the weekend event. We will see you guys Friday afternoon at the Beach Club Resort.

Message to all travelling to the Island; if you know which ferry you are wanting to take it would be worthwhile to make a reservation; depending on the time of day it can be very busy. The $ 15.00 is well worth not waiting at the terminal for a missed sailing.

When you get to the ticket booth request a spot on the MAIN car deck; the lanes are wider and you can get out of your Viper safely. Tell them you have a bad back and need the extra width to open the car door.

See you all there!!

Cheers,

Jim

Just an update on ferries; Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay sailings are booked solid unless you plan on traveling early morning or late evening on Friday. They are showing availability on the 08:30, 18:55 and 21:30 sailings.
Leaving out of Tsawwassen to Duke Point showing open all sailings at this point.

A pack of Porsches was caught speeding on a highway north of Vancouver over the weekend and the drivers didn't get only tickets, they've lost their luxury wheels for a week.
West Vancouver Police say four Porsches were pulled over on the Sea to Sky Highway on Saturday by a single officer.
The officer had tracked the vehicles travelling up to 131 kilometres an hour in an 80-kilometre zone.
The Porsches have been impounded for a week and each driver was handed a ticket for $368.
Police say just a week earlier, the same officer issued warnings to members of a Porsche Club telling them the danger of speeding in the area.
