It\'s Official: The 1st Annual Charity Poker Run - May 6th, 2006

DATE: MAY 6TH, 2006 AT 10AM
RAIN DATE: MAY 7TH, 2006

Well we tested the waters and now it is a go!!! Here are the details:

Best five card poker hand wins. How do you get the cards? Each destination has a card so there will be five stops. The first stop will be my residence and the last at a restaurant in Northern NJ so that we can have the final tally and have the winners announced, not to mention eat some good food. The route will NOT be released until the day of the event. Top three poker hands will get prizes. Also looking for sponsers for the prizes. Please PM me and we will give special thanks to you at the event, not to mention have a thank you sheet with all the sponsers on it.

Now why are we doing this? Well to have a bunch of fun and also help out the Make A Wish Foundation. We will also be collecting money for this event to donate to the foundation. Any help would be greatly appricated!!

In order for this to be successful, we need a huge turnout so lets start the RSVP list. RSVP's must be received by April 24th in order to facilitate this event. Now lets get this show on the road!!

so we have to drive to south jersey at tigers house and then we dirve elsewhere to pick up cards?

Keith lets call it THE 1ST. ANNUAL POKER RUN this is the first time out and I for insurnance purpose for the club don't want to call it a NY/CT event yet. If someone want to give money they could write a check or money order for the charity and give it to you. Doing it this way first time out I think would be better and still fun. I will call you and help you out much as possible. I am also working on a charity event for the club and it's going to be really big. Keith before we mention the NJ CLUB I have to get Bob Carrolls permission to post their club. It's a respect thing I have for him and the NJ CLUB please tell me if you agree or disagree. Not a problem. 1st Annual Poker Run it is. Can we use Viper Club of America itself?

Also NJ club is definitely welcome. The more the merrier.

When you get a chance change the heading of the post. I don't know if we can use the VCA you might have to contact them and ask. You might want to post this for other exotic car clubs to join to get more people involved. Tell me what you think and thanks again,Adrian

Just confirmed with Adrian. This event is open to all exotics! Vipers, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches, etc. Lets get a good run going to open the season!!!

Well actually, our season opener is the week before on Saturday the 29th at Snakepit Performance.....but this should prove to be fun too.
