I got a modest gain with strikers, cam, and turbos..
I wish I could be so humble.
I already have Corsa track with with high flow cats and I have ECS tuner from DC performance, which I believe can be re-tuned to accept new heads/cams set up.You can't beat the Striker Heads, they are the best cylinder head out there. You do however need the whole package in order to maximize your efforts. Cam, Heads,Rockers, Pushrods, Exhaust and Tune all have to work together in order to get Great results. This also helps Durability!
Anyone has a Striker or any other head and cam package installed in the Gen3? If so what HP gain you have from the package and how much part and labor was it?
Thanks.
Dc Performance , Doug Levin, Jeff (Who makes the Strikers) & Dan at Viper Specialty Performance all agread that with the right compression/cam and tune 600RWHP yes RWHP. Is very doable but thats with building the bottom end too and no thats not a stroker motor. I know because im looking into doing this myself.
If that's building the bottom...but not a stroker...then what exactly is entailed in building the bottom end? I assume it's replacing the internals to forged...rods, bearings, pistons?
Yes forged everything pistons etc. and a few other odd end items also. Very expensive to get power this way thats the downside!
True but at least it'll be a somewhat bullet proof motor (good tune) and fun to drive nonetheless!

Hm building bottom end? What about simple change of heads and cams? Any idea what HP would that give me on the existing high flow cats, Corsa and tune?
My goal is to have least possible amount of modifications to the engine (well relatively speaking ). Ease of install and price another two items I am looking for.
I honestly would be happy with the 650HP on the block if the set up is easy to install and reliable.
Gen 3, what could a guy expect for RWHP?[/quote]With a Gen 2 and the exact same mods as the Gen 3, what could a guy expect for RWHP?

Power under the curve looks good. What did you using for tuning? Stock Computer or add on unit like VEC3 etc.?
here is what my gen 2 did with striker heads/cam

Ps in any Viper if its not trapping 131 plus (SEA LEVEL TRACK ) its not making the power of 600 to the tire no matter WHAT A DYNO SHEET SAYS .Why is everyone FIXATED upon DYNO NUMBERS when the ultimate perf test is TRAP SPEED in the quarter mile .
