Hey all,
Just wanted to make my first post as an owner....
I bought a '94 RT a few weeks ago; it's been packed away in the garage, where I could look at it and prove to myself that I'm not dreaming.... Now that I'm certain it mine, I'm ready to dive into and do all those things to make it truly my own. The weather hasn't been too cooperative since I got, but I did manage to sneak it out here and there. I first test-drove it in the rain when I flew out to look at it; I did an impromptu 180 trying to make a left onto a crowded street. Had to tell the owner that I planned on doing that. I had it inspected there, and the dealer gave it a clean bill of health, but I still intend to have KenK look at it as soon as I can get a free afternoon. I also need to go transfer the warranty and undo/fix some minor issues, but it's been pretty cool so far.
Quite a rush to drive! Not quite as quick as the bikes (maybe DLM/Roe can fix that for me!), but definitely safer feeling. I find myself taking greater liberties with it on the backroads than with the bikes. I don't think my insurance company is going to like this change...
Now I just gotta deal with the boss, who can't possibly fathom how this beauty could cost less than his SUV...
Looking forward to joining you at all the rest of the club events this year.
