JonB - Parts Rack - are the best!

I wanted to sing some praises for JonB and the Parts Rack. I was recently affected by the ACR Harness recall, and I read with interest the information posted about the Team Tech custom belts which are certified to meet SFI-16-1 specs and are SCCA legal. I have 5 events coming up before April with two on Wednesday and Thursday of next week. I'm sure the Chrysler Group will resolve the situation, but time is of the essence for me right now.

I called JonB at the Parts Rack and explained my problem and he said that the good news was that the custom belts are excellent in every way, but the bad news is that due to their quality as well as the recall, the hand made belts would take a couple of weeks to get shipped. Then the amazing thing - when I decided on the color and options, Jon said he had previously ordered the same set for his car and offered to let me take his order instead of having to wait for mine. Talk about giving you the shirt off his back! I'll have the belts installed before my event on Wednesday and not have to worry about my old belts being safe at the track.

I recently spoke with Jon B for the first time about a problem with my '94 RT/10. I knew from reading this board that Jon had extensive Viper knowledge, but I was amazed that he was willing to talk to me (a total stranger) for about 30 minutes. I ordered some plug wires and smooth tubes and I'm sure I'll be giving him some more business in the future.

I agree with you Wayne, I think we are very lucky to have so many knowledgeable people share their expertise on this board. Bill Pemberton answered one of my posts earlier this year and as a result made me aware of a Panoz Racing School event that was to be attended by many of the ViperDays regulars. I had a great weekend with everyone and made some excellent friends. Bill, JonB and so many others on this board really know how to make you feel welcome!

Hey, all ! Thanks for the kind words, but keeping my customers safe is GOOD BUSINESS! My Shroth belts can safely Pace for another weekend or two!

GOOD NEWS: TeamTech put on an extra shift this week, and 2 more next week, to pump out VIPER Harnesses for 5 of my VCA customers.....and for 8 more next week. By next FRIDAY, 3/23, all custom belts thru PartsRack will be shipped...(2 weeks early in some cases!)

TeamTech is a very exciting and innovative company....I'm learning about sled-testing, crash testing, head/neck protection technology......and MORE that will get your attention very soon.
