Same problem with mine, but found out the the tie rod was bad. Fixed that and had all four wheels aligned and it is much improved.

Two things to eliminate dartiness: Get a 78 Cadillac Eldorado with Steel Ram in front and original shocks.
(Like the one in the Moive: Escape from New York)
Zero Dartiness in the worst street conditions and you can crash into things with no worry.

Or for the Viper put drag skinnies on the front and compress shocks in the rear. Note: You may need wheelie bars in the back.

So you need new tires and an alignment...I hope the frame is straight. If somebody hit a curb going sideways with that car it might take some work to get it to run straight. But I hope it's just tires.
