I am a Belanger dealer and have to say the headers look good! I was there when Mike R dyno'd them and they sounded great!!

The answers to both of those questions are in this thread...:2tu:

I am kind of confused as it comes to cats...

Does everybody who have headers.. Have no cats????

Do you have cats with your paxton????

Do you have sims????

Looks like I need headers... The O2 sensor was so seized.. it took out all of the threads.
You could look at the o2 sensor see that the threads wouldn't budge... ..

Thats bs....

Yeah...pretty common with o2 sensors...they get stuck. Make sure you liberally apply anti seize with the replacement parts....don't get it in the sensor though.

Filled you in on the other thread.

way to go.

i love hearing someone beat the viper tax !!!

It's always good to see innovation..!

:2tu: :2tu: :2tu:

I first beat the Viper tax 11 years ago when I built my own forward mounted H pipe that yielded a gain of over 20hp on a G1 (ET drop of .26 sec) still using the OE exhaust manifolds.

Last year a duplicate of the original design again yielded over 20hp on my '99 GTS in drag strip testing. (an ET drop of .24 sec from that mod alone) Still using the OE exhaust manifolds btw.

Cost? Less than $200 in tubing and flanges to weld up. :D

Now it's on my '01 ACR, and I've got more experiments in mind for the exhaust system..leaving the OE exhaust manifolds and OE rear muffler in place.

I was just looking at the pictures again and I noticed there was no hanger for the connecting pipe.... Do you have to weld a new one? or do you not put one???

I really think I am going to get these...

Anybody know how long they take to make them?

I haven't called yet....Since its the weekend...

Thanks,

Joe

Did you weld the connection pipe to the corsa??

Is the collection pipe 2.5 or 3 inches?

Right now my stock cats are welded to the 3 inch corsa track....
Looks like I am going to have to cut it to get the other pipe to fit.

I put a spot weld in on all the side pipe systems I have installed.

All the header systems I have seen are 3"

no big deal...just cut and weld in the length you need....you can get lengths of stainless form Burns Stainless or maybe Summit Racing.

Actually the M&M connector pipes come about 3-4 inches too long so you may not have to add any pipe anyway.

This is a great post! I have wondered whether anyone had tried this, and whether it would help the big block V10. That's great news. Did you use the same size pipe as the ones you connected to? Did you use flanges on each side (I----I) , or just on one end?(-I---) ? Thanks!

Its a great deal.
Im still getting people daily telling me my car sounds so good now, asking what did I do. Its just got such a cleaner bark to it now. Im very happy, I wish I would have known about these headers months ago. :2tu:
