Just insured my 2008 with American Collectors!

Wow am i impressed. The rates that these people offer for antique and collector cars is amazing. Here is the breakdown: 1968 GTX 440 6-pack 4 speed
1968 Charger
1970 Challenger R/T 383 4 speed
2008 Challenger SRT8
2008 Viper Conv.

All are insured at replacement value of 260k for only $1173 a year. Might be worth a call for anyone that feels they are overpaying.

Give them a call. Its worth a shot. They told me every situation is different. If your vip isnt a daily driver you should be ok. BTW they ask what your daily driver is just for the record.

I called them but it didn't blow me away. I guess CT is way different than PA. My 97 GTS was quoted at $762 for 40K, $966 for 50K for a 100/300/100 coverage with 2500 miles per year. My driving record is good. I'll still check them out at my next renewal.

Dont know. Ive never had an accident and Im at the ripe old age of 35. They are similar to grundy and hagerty but much nicer people. May be worth a try for people with multiple cars.

Read your policy carefully. Remember, for the time being, all they are selling you is a piece of paper. Are you permitted to drive to work? Must it be garaged? Taken out only to car events? Is their claims dept worth a @#$%? Anyone can sell you a policy. Check to see how they have dealt with past claims.

I'm $1876 a year and AAA knows it's my daily driver....fairly high coverage too.
