K & N oil filters

Has anyone used HP2004 K&N oil filter. I replaced my oil filter and oil when I bought the car. And used the K & N filter. Just wondering if its a good idea to keep using the K&N oil filter, I also run mobil syn. Oil press. seems to be normal...

If memory serves me, I read that Mobil 1 filters and K&N are the same except for the "nut" on top.

I use the K & N HP2004 all the time and have used their filters on all kinds of street and race engines for 20 years. never have had a problem. The nut is a great feature when it comes to removing the old filter.
