K40 Radar Detector Question

I have a K40 Radar detector in my car and I keep hearing a beep. It is not the beep from the detector going off but instead a short two tone beep that is very quick. Anyone have any idea what this is? Any help of course is greatly appricated.

Rear radar sensor is bad. If its under warranty they will replace for free. Let me know if you need another i have one.

I have the same problem with mine and I do not have a rear radar sensor. Can barly here it when the car is running.

You need to go to the place you bought it and raise hell. It comes standard with a front and rear sensor. The only options are a lazer detector and defuser. If your rear sensor is not hooked up then thats why its beeping at you. Two constant short beeps are a rear sensor malfunction. Thats not your radar using sonar to find cops.
