Key Fobs

Hey everyone, I picked up a 2008 SRT-10 in January, it's got the key, and key fob. I'm a CPA and it's tax season so my word is insane and I have not had a chance to enjoy the car or do much more than get a battery tender on it.

I have a question, What does the key fob do? Every internet search I do only comes up with links to websites to replace it. Thanks for helping out the new guy.

Dean, Lock/unlock and trunk/hatch opener. Take a look at your owners manual and you'll see Congrats on your new Viper!! Mike

Fob aside, the key will get you into the car and reset the alarm. You need to locate the hidden keyhole, and make SURE that it functions. Most owners forget to lube this at least annually...using s very small amount of grease on the key itself. If it is frozen up, just call me before you go too far. 317 402 9013.
