Kumho\'s all around?

anyone run kumho 17's all around? The fronts of my pilots are almost in need of replacement, and the backs only have about 2K miles on them.

Was thiking about running kumho's all around since they are cheap and sticky (over my MX3).

Opinions? If I do go with a new set, i'll have a HUGE smokey burnout to sacrafice the old tires to the automotive gods

Re: Kumho\'s all around?

I am impressed with the amount of actual tread that comes on these Kumhos! Side-to-Side functional tread. Most "DOT-Legal" race tures are vurtual slicks.

For WAY under $700 you get 4 very nice, very sticky, 17" tires. VERY sticky: Treadwear #50. ($635 from the RACK! PartsRack.)

I got mine today, and plan to run them on the street a bit and see how badly they sandblast the car. Safe enuf even for rain !

Yeah, I mean.. so what if they don't have a warntee... at 170$ I can risk it LOL

I wonder what the 60 times will drop to with good traction on a RT? I wheel hop like CRAZY around 4500 shift into 2nd

Re: Kumho\'s all around?

I have them all the way around they were great at Watkins Glen and I lik them on the street as far as the rain I drove them in the rain on the street not a very good need to be careful Although driveing them on wet pavement on a race course was not that bad. My 60 ft times were 1.7's and yes you still get wheel hop.
All in all I like them.
