A pita to store, although they show it on their website with the ramps on the ground and some taller approach ramps that will allow you to drive onto it when it is in a "stored" position.
"Less than a grand" gets you raw steel and THAT'S it (plus freight of course) it gets you NO options like casters, powdercoat, center lift bridge etc. Mine listed out with options at around 1800 with freight 3 years ago. Just sold it for 1200.
Works SUPER for any and all fluid changes and that oh so relaxing cleaning and Zainoing underneath the car! LOL!!!!!

Okay, so this is a great solution for those with limited garage space (height) that want to be able to get under their cars. But for not a lot more shouldn't you consider a full-fledged lift if you have the room? Personally, I would want to be able to walk under the car rather than use a crawler. Again, I suspect it is all a matter of available space...

In the review on TV, they stated that it broke down to pieces of no greater than 100#. There are rollers so that it can be moved elsewhere in the garage. They recommended it for projects no greater than dropping the tranny. But...the $1k price they promote is for a stripped unit. You are likely looking at closer to $1400.

Several people with limited garage space have them...including me. 
Here is the link to mine from last Christmas....well..it was a gift. Yes, given NO space limits there are better choices, but as you will see I have SEVERE space limits right now. So, now all my firends and neighbors come over for oil changes. Now....since I have the OK from the CFO to build a workshop/garage in the back yard, I hope to have the Kwiklift in one bay and something a bit more industrial strength in another.

BTW...not a PITA to store as I don't "store" it. I have it situated so I can drive on and off...and I leave the car on it at an angle (not much different than parking on a slight incline). It is down at least 2 times a week....and when I plan to park the car for a while...I life it up and leave it. I put a mirror at the front...I can roll on without any help.
