The Lambo is far more expensive than the Viper for many reasons and depreciates a lot less too. And if you think the Viper is "less seen or unique" like everyone compares to the Vette, how many Lambos do you see a week or month?

I see 5 times more Lambos and Ferrari than Viper's here in Miami!
I guess it all depends where you live. It's all about what you don't see. I am amazed when I'm next to a Lambo and/or Ferrari I get as much or MORE looks from other people, Some uninformed thinks the cars are in the same $$$ class. There are so much exotics here once I approached a large intersection and there was a Ferrari 599 and a Gallardo waiting at the light to make a left, The other direction was a Muci and making a right was a 430. I need to move!:( If I can afford one I will own one. They are awesome! But right next to it in my garage will be a Viper! IT BELONGS!

Well said Kenny.

I live in Vegas most of the year (when I'm not fishing) no water in Vegas lol

When I take my ACR to the strip there's no other car on the strip that comes close to getting as much looks as my ACR.

Click on the image my car is to die for and it does NOT envy NO ONE!

When I have my Lambo Countach I didn't get the same reaction as I do with my 02' ACR

Nice to see Lambo finally stepping up their track program. Pretty pathetic for a car to view itself as a sportscar when it has no sportscar program.

As for which I'd rather have I bought my Viper because it had all the performance and none of the nannies. If Lambo makes a similar car then I'll look at Lambos.

That said, the Murci is without question a great car and the best Lambo to date.

Chrysler owned Lambo when the "countach" was the fastest car in the world, then built the Diablo and sold after that I think?

I liked the Countach, but never actually wanted to buy one.

I wasnt trolling I was actually looking to buy a good CT.

I also learned from one of the guys on the Lambo board via PM that one of the guys lost their Marci last month due to BK.

Gee I wonder why... Anyho it was an 08' Marci roadster with about 3800 miles mint and in FL.

The car sold brand new just north of $408k sold last month at a FL auction for $125k!

Is that a b*itch slap or what?! :rolaugh:
Exactly as EVERY friend of mine who bought any Italian Exotic New lost 100 grand to drive the thing a few years and a FEW thousand miles.Dont get me wrong those cars are works of art(technology ,pedigree, fit and finish, construction materials ect ) but it does come at a large overall cost.

I have a saying, It has to come easy! Meaning money burning a hole in my pocket! I will not let a car, boat or house drive me broke. I always buy with the idea I can eat and vacation without worrying if I can afford it.

Correctamundo Ted! Chrysler bought Lambo in 1987 and under their ownership they developed the Diablo. Then sold it in 1997 right before the worst transaction in Mopar history. Daimler Chrysler! That name makes me sick!:dig:

Here's why I believe Chrysler/Viper will live on.

If you guys recal, back in the late 70's there were shortages of gas and long lines.

I was just a kid and still remember that.

During that time Lambo had to file for BK pretty much the same way Chrysler did a few weeks ago.

For 7 long years Lambo was under the ownership of the Italian government.

If Lambo can pull out of BK back in the early/mid 80’s Chrysler can pull out of this within the next 2-3 years. I’m sure Fiat is not going to let the Viper brand simply go to waste.

Crysler went Bankrupt in '74 didn't they? That's when the infamous K car saved the day. I hated those things. The daytonas and Shelby Chargers that came from them were cerrtainly a step up from the Z28s and junk GM was puttin' out there at the time. You gotta like it when Chrylser uses 4 cylinder cars to beat the GMs up.

Not quite Ted, They went to congress asking for money and if they did'nt get it they would file for BK. They got the money and the K car and mini van saved the company. That was 1979
This year is the firs time Chrysler has ever filed for BK.

I rarely saw a Lambo when I worked close to home, but I now work in the Galleria area and see a few Lambos a week. In fact, I see more Lambos in a week then I do Vipers in a year.

The little *** that runs the LP board banned me by posting the TRUTH about him.

Boo hoo.... I'm not a Lambo member Boo hoo I might not own another Countach oh no it’s the end of the world! I think I'm going to cry..... Yeah right! Guys with Vipers DO NOT CRY!

Little **** (no offence Robert) with Lambos cry all day long wondering why our little 100k cars can beat their 400k cars!

The proof is in the RING!

We should have Dave go there and see how fast they ban him. :lmao:

In fact why don't we all go to the Lambo Power website and have a little fun.

From my understanding AllanLambo is the top dog there and can't take it when someone goes into his house and bi*ch slaps him over and over with each and every post.

He's posting what I type here or having his goons do it for him.

To think all I went there to do was to source out a nice CT to add to my collection.

Imagine if I went there with malicious intentions like contacting ALL his ad sponsors and showing them that he promotes street racing using his site as a venue. :lmao:

He's just a street racing punk.

That's just a bad attitude to have man. You don't make your point by being obnoxious. I'm on your side in the argument, but can't really condone the way you're going about it.

Like I said in my other post(s) I have a very short fuse once its set its set.

This guy goes around video taping Viper owners and insulting the f*ck out of fellow Viper owners telling them that he'll sell his and buy 5 Vipers.

Most of those guys are driving around minding their own and this guy comes up saying wanna race wanna race and he owns the Lambo Power boards. please.:nono:

I have a serious problem with that. He's done it on the M5 boards which I've been a member of long before I was a VCA member he does it to the Vette guys, when you type the word Vette on his website its automatically changed to POS.

He's done this on ViperAlley he's been here or had his goons come here and copy what I post, he's done it just about everywhere with zero repect for anyone.

And now you're telling to button it.

All I wanted was to ADD another car to my extensive collection and I end up with this crap.

That's the last time I try to buy anything of that nature publically especially asking my own fellow Viper owners to help.

Type all the crap you guys want about me. I stopped caring 10 posts ago.

I get challenges all the time. My response is "I'm at Sebring a half dozen times a year. You're welcome to come on down." That always shuts them up.

But then, if you don't track your car you really can't use a line like that, so I don't know what to tell ya'.

Very few people-owners are going to take a 400 grand Italian Exotic to a track to have the living crap beat out of it where the end result (besides the wear and tear on the car )can be an accicent A buddy of mine bought a New 360 Stadrale a few years ago and took it to Pocono This guy is anal as anal can get with his cars. After one lap he pulled it from the track because the car was getting pelted with stones-he also released he was not going to dominate just because he owned a Stadrale.

Well, there is your answer to the challenges then. And if you think you're good enough challenge him same car, same track, same day and get an accurate measure of actual talent. 'Cause IMO putting the foot to the floor for a straight line down a highway is no measure of skill. Money, balls and stupidity maybe, but not skill.

He wont do it, he has a history of this.

I have nothing to lose so to me its no big deal.

There's no way his GTT can do what my car does.

He can get whom ever he wants to drive his car and if needed I'll get the best guy here in the VCA to drive mine.

I want this to be a car vs car contest to see who has the best V10-TT:drive:

When I win I dont want his POS the car will be donated to the Make a Wish Foundation.

Here's what his car has.

850 TTG

  • Twin ball bearing turbochargers
  • Twin TIAL 44mm wastegates
  • Twin TIAL 50mm pressure relief valves
  • Custom Spearco water to air intercooler
  • Stainless steel turbo exhaust piping
  • Polished stainless steel air charge piping
  • Twin high flow air filters
  • Braided stainless steel turbo oil and water lines
  • Upgraded engine management system
  • Twin high flow in tank fuel pumps
  • Upgraded fuel lines
  • High flow fuel rails
  • High flow fuel injectors
  • Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
  • Four ply silicone hose couplers
  • T style hose clamps for all air charge piping
  • Engine removal and disassembly
  • Installation of steel cylinder liners
  • Custom designed CP forged pistons
  • High performance piston rings
  • New engine bearings
  • New engine gaskets and seals
  • New main bearing cap bolts
  • New cylinder head bolts
  • Engine assembly and installation
  • Upgraded twin disc clutch system
  • Professional installation and tuning
  • One year 12,000 mile limited warranty
$56,000

Performance specs:
  • 0-60 3.1 seconds
  • 1/4 mile 10.7 seconds @ 137 mph
  • 0-200 25.5 seconds
All that money and he still can't get a sub 10 second car.

Even if he went with the 1050HP package for a few thousand more he STILL doesnt have a sub 10 second car.

$62,000

Performance specs:
  • 0-60 2.8 seconds
  • 1/4 mile 10.2 seconds @ 145 mph
  • 0-200 20.5 seconds
With a little work the guys at RSI can give me 1500+ HP we're talking about something in the 8's.

3/4 mile times in the 16's @ 208 MPH.

I think this guy needs to sell his car buy 5 vipers as he claims take his left over $ and join the VCA

His car will never be anything more than a soup'd up GTT that will have outdated performance within the next year or two.

I've seen rice rockets faster than his POS GTT

He's got 400k into his POS that cant even get into the high 9's now that's sad.

Hmmm,

Performance specs:
0-60 3.1 seconds
1/4 mile 10.7 seconds @ 137 mph
0-200 25.5 seconds

My car went 10.5@139mph with PS1s on it. My Nitrous isn't even hooked up - it just sits there and looks mean :)

The clown has my number his goons have been calling me.

The thing is he has little kids call me to play games.

If he's man enough he'll call. I now have his # maybe I should call him to see what's up.

They probably have a long way to go on the murci...Top Gear has actually proven this by piloting the LP560-4 around its technical track faster than the Murcielago LP640.
