I tried to deal with him about 4 years ago and he was so full of himself that I went elsewhere. His prices were high also.

Yeah... an asking price of 45K, and his reponse was "12K cash plus your 96 RT". So i'm to assume he values my RT at exactly 30K

I recently traded my 94 RT and bought a 97 GTS. I called and spoke with Eric about what he had available. He informed me that he would get back to me later that afternoon with some information. Well he NEVER called me back. The next day I called and spoke with him again. I said that he was in the process of determining my cars trade value and would call me that afternoon with the pricing information on the difference between my car and his. Well to make a long story short, he NEVER

called me back (not once!!!) Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me!!! I would NEVER do business with him.

There are too many really GOOD dealers out there, send them your business.......Kurt

In 1998, I wanted an early RT and called many of the "big" Viper dealers. I talked to "Mr Viper" at Latham and after our initial conversation, he never returned my calls. For that matter, except for one dealer, none of the others returned my call either. Who won? Woodhouse. I have now purchased two Vipers through Bill.

I really appreciate the positive posts from my customers. I will take into consideration the negative posts also. I know I can't please everyone but I will try to improve and satisfy as many as possible. I run an honest business and I am the only one at the dealership that sells Vipers and Prowlers so, yes, sometimes I don't make contacts as quick as I should and some of the calls fall through the cracks. I have enjoyed dealing with the Viper nation over the past 10 years and look forward to many more years to come. I love my job because I get to sell the BEST SPORTS CAR IN THE WORLD TO THE GREATEST CUSTOMERS IN THE WORLD!!

Thanks again!

Eric,

Those customers that do call you are potentially going to spend major $$$ with you. It would behouve you to return calls when you say you will. I bought my 97 GTS two days after not hearing back from you!!!. The concensus so far seems to indicate a cause for concern. Why would anyone looking to spend upwards of $60,000 settle for anything less than WOODHOUSE service??!!.....Kurt

Eric,
I called you once about a Venom 650R you had for sale , left a voice mail message, and never heard from you. So I took my '98 GTS to Hennessey and had mine built. I usually don't take the time to call a vendor back to let him know he lost a possible sale, however, this post came up so I'm taking the time. People spending this kind of $$$s expect the courtesy of a call back even if in my case you had maybe already sold the car I was interested in. As you say some calls may be falling between the cracks, however, I would suggest you have sales falling between the cracks. You should hire an assistant to return calls and consider it an investment in you're business. I think the increase in revenues and ROI would be well worth it. Remember, it's customers like me and those above that you don't hear back from complaining about poor service that go elsewhere with their $$$s and you don't even know it.

Made one purchase from eric lee.Since then eric i have purchased two additional vipers and as eric now knows he also lost my buisness.Reason mainly price, not very good for the viper giant of twin falls.Slow in responding to inquiries & felt his attitude towards the customer was very poor, when people pay the prices we do for our snakes. Just my experience

I talked to Eric for over 2 hours and he was very nice to me. Nothing beats Woodhouse, though.

I called Eric and told him what I was looking for and he happened to have it. I told him the price range I needed to be in and he would have needed to drop his price by 4K. He never called me back so I called Bill P @ Woodhouse, he happened to have basically the same car. Woodhouse was excellent, no hassling, no negotiating, just the best price right up front. I couldn't be happier!

I agree 100%!!! Seems that hiring a "point" person could have helped secure those who went elsewhere. Eric, thanks for reading the post......Kurt

I called Latham Dodge as well as Roanoke Motor Co. Both didn't return my calls. I ended up purchasing my car at another dealer.

I don't know if these are good or bad places and I will never know. Once they decided not to return my calls (for what ever reason), I went elsewhere. There is always someone out there willing to take money; especially a lot of it, if given the chance.

From what I've read so far 7 (SEVEN) Viper sales have FELL through the cracks.

I guess this is an "on the fence" (and now long) comment regarding Eric Lee. When I was looking for my GTS, I called Eric and he called me back promptly. He was friendly and professional and wasn't one of the "you gonna buy that car today?" kind of guys...and i talked to several of those guys in my search. We talked about what I wanted and he was to send me pics of a car he had that fit my needs. It took a full week to get the pics due to him going out of town unexpectedly. By that time, I had already given a deposit on another car (a couple of you on here know my little horror story with that). Eric's car basically fit my needs and was a very fair deal, ~$2000 less than I paid but the car had ~10000 more miles, which seems about right to me. The lack of communication during that week POSSIBLY cost him a deal (the miles on the car were a lil high for me also so that would have played a part too), but I don't know that I would leave him off of my list of people to call for my next viper (yes, i'm hooked already). There are other places that never called me back and one that said "we have just the RT/10 for you", and i was very specific as to what I wanted when i talked to dealers. Bottom line is communcitation is the key to all business transactions and without it, deals fall through. I think Eric is a decent guy but probably has a lot (maybe too much) going on and has a difficult time keeping up communication with all possible customers and if you can't talk to him, you can't buy a car from him. just my thoughts....apparently i think a lot...hahahahahaha

I bought a '94 RT/10 from Eric 3 months ago, and I would say that overall it's been a positive experience. I do get the distinct impression that he has a lot on his plate, but I have had two potentially ugly issues with the car come up since I bought it, and the first one was settled fast and very satisfactorily, and the second issue is still in work and shows promise towards a timely satisfactory resolution. As such, I'd recommend Eric Lee, even if it's sometimes hard to get a hold of.

I received an email from him today after my post. He seemed very polite and offered details of what he had in inventory. Thank you Eric.

I having nothing positive or negative to say about Eric
never dealt with him.
I will say this; I was ready with cash in hand to by a 2000 Steel grey sitting on the floor of a New Jersey dealership.
Really loved the color and price was right.
The salesman NEVER called me back.
So went to Bill at Woodhouse and now have yellow fever.
Lost a sale over a return call! Unreal.

A week after I ordered my 2001 a manager from the NJ dealership called me back and I told him the sale was yours but your dealership blew it all over not calling customers back.

Also before my purchase I sent many emails to a New Hampshire dealership that did not answer my emails.

Someday other dealerships will learn the woodhouse method.
just my 2 cents.
