The Gen V looks better with black stripes. I like the B/W color combo, but this Launch Edition just isn't right. No blue on the interior, the grille breaks up the stripes abruptly, wheels are hideous, and if one were to ever put the aero package on in the aftermarket, it will look really goofy.

I think it's bad to the bone. I prefer the more subtle black/grey stripes, but it wasn't an easy decision. If the Launch Edition was available with Track Package, it would've been more interesting. Never the less, that GTS Blue with white stripes is niiiiiiiice.

Why does SRT show the cars with lowered suspension at car shows, and then sell us the jacked-up models ?
Two years ago I saw a 300 SRT8 that finally looked right at the Detroit auto show, but on close inspection, I noticed it had been dropped and had 3/4" spacers at all 4 wheels !
Why this false advertising ? It ****** me off

This concerns me too. There's been a lot of ride-height variation on the Vipers at the shows and in the pics.

Some of the cars that are out there are on the ACR shocks from the past and have the ability to be lowered for the shows and ride evaluations. You will have the option to upgrade to an adjustable suspension like previous models to lower them on the SRT version, but probably not with the GTS version.

Thanks for the info
Just what I was afraid it would be, as I was considering the GTS

This is just my take on the systems integration with the Stability control systems, it has not been verified by anyone at SRT. There may be a way to fool the system down the line, but part of what you are paying for with the GTS is the sophisticated suspension system and variable stability controls anyhow.

I'm a sucker for the blue/white...love it. I don't mind the polished wheels either, but those track wheels are also hot hot hot!!!

I do wish those stripes would somehow go through the grill, but probably wouldn't look quite right with the intricate design of the grill area.

Finally, I also hope the production GTS is not 4x4 ready. :)
