SRT did great! The drivers were great, two cars started and two cars finished. SRTs were low on power down the Moulsanne Straight being passed by the GTE Am cars. In the turns they great, the cars are reliable, the drivers and complete SRT team are great. The track consumed many cars managed by teams with a lot more experience. One end of the track would be raining hard and the front straight sunny, cars were spinning and crashing in the rain and flying down the front straight it was an amazing experience. This is the most difficult race in the sports car World. I hoped SRT would win or be on the podium. But the reality is that this race is brutal and to survive it is an accomplishment. Viper 53 finished 24th overall out of 56, finished ahead of 14 LMP cars. Finished 3 laps and 6 laps behind Corvette #73 and #74. Corvette has been racing at Le Mans for the last 14 years(starting in 2000) with at least 7 first place finishes. This just illustrates how difficult this race is to win and in my opinion I think Team SRT did fantastic. The following blogs are from Le Mans. We are lucky to have SRT management produce an amazing sports car and be so concerned about their owners. http://www.drivesrt.com/news/2013/07/ken-wells-blogs-about-his-trip-to-the-24-hours-of-le-mans.html , http://www.drivesrt.com/news/2013/07/fred-kinder-wraps-up-his-24-hours-of-le-mans-blog.html, http://www.drivesrt.com/news/2013/0...bout-his-trip-to-the-24-hours-of-le-mans.html
