Leaks in rain?

Jim,
The hardtop never leaked even in a good rain!
The softop got caught once in a light rain no leak at all!!!!

Very happy with both tops when I have to use them, but prefer to have them off !!!!

Been in several torrential downpours, once I a small leak with the softtop, nothing significant. And no problems with the windshield seal either.

You should also get the leak fix from Biff Brown.

They help in routing the water to the door sills, a must for RT-10 owners. You may also want to go to Pep boys or Autozone and get the rubber molding that is self adhesive to help in your problem. Good luck!

I had no leaks with the upgraded 96 top and stock 94 windows but my V-Mania windows whistle wind noise and leak like crazy. They look good but thats it. I fixed the door leaks back in 1995 after reading a two page sheet some Viper owner from Florida had put out about waterproofing your Viper.

I do have a small gap towards the rear section of the windows myself. What I did was get that thin soft rubber seals to put on the window. What I did was apply those seals to the window itself. I put it on an angle to direct the water out. I had to carve the carpeting on the inside window off to get a good surface. On the windshield pillar I will also do the same.

every Viper leaks - even my GTS. driving down to Nashville for VOI in the rain left me nicely soaked floors.
