So since Jersey Jeff has me thinking of interior again....I was at a local car show in my 94 RT/10 parked next to a gen 3 vert. I have the pretty standard grey leather seats, and the gen 3 had the black leather seats. The sun was very bright that day, my seats could fry an egg, but his were not so hot?
Shouldn't the black leather have been much hotter than my gray leather?
For all the chatter about rt/10's on hot days and sweating while driving it, etc ... this would be my only complaint, that the seats get smoking hot sitting in the sun. If I can fix that, I'm good. Oh, and add some more HP, and ....

I redid mine in Suede and they're not bad in the heat. not nearly what leather would be.

If you're interested in redoing your interior, check out xtremeautointeriors.com. Jon does a ton of high-end cars, including a few Vipers, and does first-class work.

He's in Rosylin, not too far from Downingtown.

Explaining Viper things to you
Per an inquiry I made on this web site about Gen 3 seats I was told by Gen 3 owners they are suede not leather.

Regardless, I did mine to mimic that with grey suede and black leather. $1300 for the pair.

You are correct, they are suede on the body, but surrounded by the leather. I was feeling the leather surface which was way cooler even though black than was my gray leather

If / when I get them redone, I would probably do something very similar to yours
