I would never have a vehicle that I care about without one of these. Got mine at the local parts store and worth its weight in gold.

I got the one from Pep Boys...had to grind down the bolt on the fuel door a little bit for it to fit but it works well.

Going to AutoZone within the hour to pick up one they put on hold for me. I called and they had one left in stock. FINALLY got my Viper last night and noticed there wasn't a gas cap when I went to fill up. I thought that was normal.

Is it possible to adapt your own key to that locking gas cap or the key model is completly different? I don’t want to have two keys for the car.
Thanks

I use a 3-number locking gas cap with storage for backup keys. With 999 combinations, it's obviously easy to crack but it serves as a deterrent to the common bicycle riding pest. So far, I've used the backup keys once. I don't remember where I got it.
