Noooooooooo !!

What a nice way to make me cry...

I just can't wait to be able to afford myself one of these.

That blue-gray (sorry don't know the exact color code...shame on me) GTS looks badass with that front and those wheels !!!

Looks sweet! Love the color and those Forgelines are perfect.

Is your hood properly shut? Or is the gap from the Autoform bumper?

Your car is close to mine in appearance, except color. I have the Forgelines and autoform fascia. Please tell us more on the brakes.

Questions:
Did you cut a hole in the roof for the roof vent?
What size front tires are you using with the VR1s? I have 285/30-19s.

Matthew Howell 97 GTS,

The ABS is actually from something else, the SRT10 and Comp Coupe only have 3 channel ABS, Ted is keeping this one close to his chest, and I promised I would not tell.

Hood is shut, The Autoform parts while good looking when on are a *&^#$% to fit properly.

did you have to swap out your master cylinder to change over to the srt-10 brakes?

It is the same master cylinder, if you want call Ted May and pick his brain on the brakes, this is probably the best stopping GTS out there, any where. Ted already has a list of over a dozen people lined up for the same brake setup. :headbang:

Steve,
That's a cool collection of Vipers you have there. I saw your GTS and CC the last time I was at Ted's shop. Both awesome rides. How do the Gen 3 brakes on the GTS compare to the brakes on your SRT-10?

Dave,

They squeak about the same, and believe it or not the GTS feels like it brakes better than the SRT10, the tires grip better ( non run flats ) so the ABS is damn near impossible to trigger on the GTS.

So do you plan on doing any comparisons of your GTS with new brakes vs. the comp coupe or SRT-10?

I know Ted was planning on doing this but I don't know if he ever did, I predict that the brake distance will be between that of the SRT10 and the Comp coupe, but closer to the SRT10 distance as the tire and especially the weight advantage of the comp coupe is too much for the GTS to overcome no matter how good the brakes. Once it gets dry up here is Norcal I will try to get some braking distance #'s together for you.

Steve,
Sounds like a great mod for the Gen II. Leave it to Ted, Al and Bob. Great bunch of guys. :2tu:

Venom500 thanx for the compliments!

Bugeater and FastFreddy, I will post the info as I have it for you, I think that any racer would save seconds with this upgrade.

Dave I couldn't agree more! Ted is putting my new stand alone TRACTION CONTROL in next week!!!
