Looking for 99+ GTS

I am looking for a 99+ GTS, any color but red, less than 20k miles. Any leads on owners who are not delusional would be appreciated. I made a similar post awhile back, but changed my mind due to the delivery of a 2003 E55.

I am an eBay man, for sure.....

...but...

The day when eBay is the market on cars, is the day eBay controls the entire market on everything. 80% of the cars (95%+ of the Vipers) have reserves which are set at market price or better. These reserves aren't met 90% of the time, which means they don't sell.

Just because a Viper "goes cheap" on eBay, doesn't mean it sold! If you want proof, check completed auctions on Vipers, look how many have reserves and look how many weren't met.

I agree, eBay is far from the market for Vipers or many other "highline" cars for that matter. Rarely are the Vipers selling because someone feels that a 2000 GTS is worth $65k. The prices remind me of Royal Gate Dodge in St. Louis.

That was too funny. I know exactly what you mean about Royal Gate, They think there are only 3 vipers in the world and they have all 3. Prices they have are waaay to high,guess thats why they have to "sit" on them for long periods of time.

I feel sorry for the Vipers at Royal Gate, sitting outside regardless of the weather (i.e. snow, rain). I do have to admit, they offered me a smoking deal on a new Ram 1500. As for the Vipers, and every other "nice" (i.e. Mercedes, Lexus) they are always outside due to the ghetto showroom facility.

Also look in the duPont Registry. There are several nice ones in there. Good luck and FYI we have a great VCA here in the Gateway city!
