Looking for a Viper guru near Tampa, FL

I can't post in the regional section, hoping someone could set me up with an email or phone number to someone who can show me "what's what"

from what i've read there are a lot of things I should be looking at replacing and I havent got a clue how/where/why.

Power steering brackets, 99' and up cooling fans, motor mounts, where and how to lubricate the hood hinges, hell.. even how to raise the car so I can change the oil myself.
where to get these parts, who can I trust to install them, what else should i be concerned with??

I've been a long time chevy guy and I do most small things myself, I just have no knowledge of my 97' GTS.

As far as John Q. Public is concerned, we must all be Viper Gurus. I think that is part of the mistique of the Viper...well at least IMO. Given the choice of all the cars out there, you gotta have some cahunas to select the most bodacious of rides to play around in...so likewise by implication, you must know a lot about cars too. I do find it kinda funny sometimes when race car drivers are interviewed and all they state is that they "just drive the car" and don't have a clue as to how it works.

There's a "cars & coffee" get together this Saturday 5/7/11, at Lakeland Linder Airport, usually there are 4-6 Viper owners there, and 70 other cars. I'm faily certain Lee Saunders is going, he can answer/help you with any Viper issues. I wont be there this time.

It starts at 8am, usually goes to 10am. No cost, just a social time, and a great Buffet at the Airport restaurant.

I've been a fan of them since I saw the prototype in St. Louis in like 1990.

I know the specs but I'm afraid to touch the car, I'm just being a panzy.

Does anyone here go to the Cars N Coffee in St. Pete at the DuPont building? I plan on going on the 21st.
