Actually they "do" fit all Vipers with a little tweaking of the clocking the lever has for adjustment. They have successfully been installed on a Gen2, 3 and 4 Viper. The feel and shifting precision is far superior to ANY other shifter on the market. Plus it has a light weight reverse selection spring so you can still get into reverse without using 2 hands on the shortened lever.

The only one I carry because it is the only one I will use myself.

The current pricing is under $300 but come April 1st they will be going up.

Old thread I know but do you have any more of these shifters? T56 lists for $185 on the MGW site. Is this the same as what you have?

I always have a dozen in stock!

Mark, I sent a PM a few weeks ago to you about getting the shifter for my Gen III. I never heard back from you or AB (on a different question), which is unlike both of you. It shows in my "sent" files, but I'm thinking it didn't actually go through. I already have the MGW knob and short shaft, but Im thinking about adding the actual shifter as well. Can you PM me the price?

What exactly are the adjustments needed to install this shifter in a Gen2? I loved the MGW in my Cobra. Read several posts on here about having to modify the ash tray area to make it fit, but anything with links to pictures is too old to view.

The installation is possible with a race car, but if you are retaining the factory interior then I would use another brand.

Mark, can you please answer 2 questions:

1) what other brand for a Gen2? I don't like the looks of the Hurst and the B&M is not made any more - unless you still have some left?

2) what exactly has to be done to make the MGW fit in a Gen 2? Is it just the ashtray that is in the way or more.

Thanks Ron.

I do not carry any of the other shifters and as far as I know they were the only options.

From what I have been told the shifter will hit the floor pan because it is taller and in the wrong location so you would need to cut the hole bigger and then not use the console (race car only IMHO) You would then need to fab up a boot of some sort to seal it off. As I have said before this is what I have been "told", I have never attempted on here.
