I sold my 2003 Viper in 2012 and now I am looking at getting back into the Viper world. The prices have really gone up since I sold mine, but oh well...

The prices are bizarre because I've found some that are upper $50's with less than 20K miles, but I've also seen similar ones for in the $60-80K range. Such a range...

Do you think these prices will hold, or am I buying at a bad time?

Any thoughts are appreciated!

I'd say it depends what you are looking for. If you just want something to drive and enjoy I think upper 50s sounds kind of high. If you are looking for a really nice example that you occasionally take out but are hoping to maybe make money off of in the future, something in the 50s doesn't sound crazy to me with the way prices and general inflation have been lately. I think you can still find nice examples in the 40s if you look around. One guy was just asking about one listed for sale for 44k that has 30,000 and change miles on it that looked nice in pictures at least. If you are looking at a coupe or special edition though, I would expect prices to reflect that to some degree as well.

I was going to list my silver ‘03 soon. It has 32k, third owner. 100% stock. Was thinking $46,500 range.

Thanks for the post. I will think about it. My previous 2003 was silver and I was kind of looking at a different color, but you are at a good price range so I need to consider it. The black one I am looking at has 19K miles, but they want $57k for it. I don't think they will get $57k for it as it seems like they are not moving very quick at that price.

I own a ‘05 Viper SRT Convertible. I bought it new in ‘06. The mileage is 35K. Color is yellow. Tator’s garage, in South Salem, Westchester County NY, has serviced the car for many years. I have most of those records. At 78, the car is difficult for me to get in and out of!
Car is completely stock. The only thing that has been replaced is the exhaust system.
I’ve ordered a Charger Hellcat. It’s certainly no Viper, but egress and ingress should be a lot easier!
I would consider an offer in the low 50s
