+1 on the Esco stands. Very stable, very strong.

I'm using a Milwaukee 2-ton floor jack and an old NAPA (back when they were USA made by Lincoln ) 2-ton floor jack. Both easily slide under the side sills of a Gen II at factory ride height.

Ok so I took SpeedRacers recommendation and I went to my local harbor freight store and picked up a 2.5 ton low profile jack, http://www.harborfreight.com/low-pro...eel-68049.html. I also went to Home Depot and picked up a set of Moving Sliders, these are just plastic cups with a rubber pad on one side, and I tore off the rubber pad and fit in the the mounting plate of the jack, it fit perfect with a bit of working it in.
