I would really like to put my car up on all 4 jackstands to do some cleaning. However, how can I lift the front of the car evenly w/o the use of ramps? Is there a low-profile jack that will slide under the front?

The jackI have now, is pretty low profile. However, it will only raise the car, using the tie-down "loop", right behind the front wheels, jacking it one side at a time.. Is there a way to bring the whole front up evenly?

I have seen several posts about people taking all 4 wheels off for cleaning. How does everyone go about this?

Got a low-pro jack today. Im thinking about making some sort of cross member support, in order to accomplish this. Has anyone ever attempted this?

what i do, is use the low pro jack after i lift the car a little (on the side) with sissor jack from the trunk. i slide the low pro jack under the middle front (from the side) and lift it high enough for jack stands, then, take the jack loose and aim it to the back and lift it that way (from the same side as before), then put the stand under the back...that should have ya covered!!

I bought the low profile raceramps (front and rears); You will have plenty of room to access the inner wheel rims. They are extremly light and useful. They come with a hanger belt designed to attach on the garage wall. Go to raceramps.com

yeah, I have the lo-pro ramps and use them all the time for oil changes, etc. They work great.. However, I am looking for something that will allow wheel removal.

I don't understand, is your car lowered? I ask because I have a lo-pro Sears jack which I can slide right up to the front cross member jack point and lift away, no problem. And from my experience, most of the lo-pro jacks out there are lower than the jack I have.
