I noticed that my lumbar support didn't work on my 2002 RT/10 , and the culprit was a torn off inflation bulb. Rather than buying the repair kit for $140 each paying the outrageous "Viper Tax", I found this alternative replacement bulb though a medical supply company for about $6 each :) It fits perfect and works like OEM.

****Disclaimer: this part is not made for or designed specifically for a Dodge Viper. Harmonics and material stress tests and well as chemical molecular compound testing have not been completed by a "VIPER SPECIALIST". These parts have not been tested on a real race car and do not have the stamp of approval for use on such unless the applicable "Viper Tax" is applied and paid in full.. I am not responsible for death and or dismemberment as a result of the use of this non viper specific, but very shiny and blingy product*****

Purchase from, via Ebay:
Rymatt -Wellness
17 Alabama Ave
Island park NY 11558

Price:$5.79 each

Enjoy...

Finding a replacement pump has been on my to do list for quite a while. Even had a friend who is a nurse look into it. Thanks for posting this find.

There is a thread that cross references part numbers to avoid Viper Tax situations like the power steering pump. We should add this item to it.

Thanks again.

Got a link? I'm pretty sure the $58 pump is remanufactured. Which is probably fine but should be mentioned.

My local auto parts store. Try PepBoys or Autozone also. Reman for sure, or if you want new, about $150-$168. But a power steering pump is nothing more than a hydraulic pump and anyone who says that the viper requires some magical VIPER ONLY $500+ power steering pump is full of chit..Just an FYI.

Here is what you were looking for. http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/569146-Shared-parts-between-Vipers-and-other-brands.?
Definitely, update it with anything that you have come up with ! The first post there only references a Mopar part # and only calls it a Jeep part. Year, make, and model of the application for the replacement power steering pump would be necessary for a more novice person to have in order to end up with the right part from Autozone since that is what they will be asked for when going there. Some of those Autozone folks only know how to fill in blanks on the computer screen.

When I first saw the blub, the first thing I said was 'oh a blood pressure blub'. Am I that old that others have never seen it hang at the doctor's office (and I only go to the doctor maybe 1 time in 7 years if that) or on tv??

That was the first thing I searched for online.
