Lunch Cruise to Edwardsville, Ill 06/12/10

[RX VIPER]

We're heading to **** Gang Asian on Saturday, June 12th for lunch. The owner is a huge Viper fan and has offered each owner who drives their car 50% off their entire bill including beverages. They have expanded their facility since our last visit and if the weather is cool we can sit outside too.

We'll meet at 10:45am and depart promptly at 11:00am from the Drury Inn parking lot at the SE corner of Olive and 270. Illinois members please plan to meet us at **** Gang Asian about 11:30am. They are located in Edwardsville on Hwy 157. Here is a link to their website wangganghome

Just a friendly weather update. It's almost 9:00 AM...cloudy and very humid here near Edwardsville, but no rain and the roads are dry. It's going to be a hot one today! Hoping to see lots of Gateway Vipers soon...

Pretty good turnout today. We had a great time and it was nice seeing everyone.


One a bad note, my car started sputtering as I hit the off ramp near my house. Car died and sat on the side of the road for a few before finally restarting. I limped it home and it died for good in front of my house and I rolled into the driveway (and pushed it into the garage).



I am pretty sure that my fuel pump (in tank Walbro 255) went out on me. Looks like I'll have something to do next weekend now.

Amazing luck we both had... My power steering line blew on my turn into my driveway. My FINAL TURN. Car vommited ATF-4 all over the exposed aggregate! Bob came over on Sunday and it ended up being a bad o ring. A 1 cent piece of rubber almost left me stranded in IL. All is good now!

Cruise was fun! Would have been better if we had a chance to go faster than 55mph....
