Macedo Motorsports built my car last fall. As part of the engine build, Federal Mogul lifters were installed. After less than 1500 miles one of the lifters began making significant noise. After talking to Larry it was concluded that the lifter itself was likely defective. Here's where the story gets good.

Larry had my car towed to 21st Century Muscle Cars in Dallas owned by John Page. Lots of killer TT LPE Corvettes come out of this shop. Thanks to John for the use of his shop. Larry then loads a truck up with tools, parts, and supplies and drives 1200 miles (20 hours drive time) with a friend from Orlando to Dallas to replace the lifters himself. Arrived Thursday evening and worked Friday and most of Saturday on the car. He did indeed find a bad lifter and replaced the entire set along with new head bolts gaskets and fluids. Even got an oil change out of the deal. I did get a chance to see first hand how careful and precise Larry is when working on Vipers. No corners were cut and no expense was spared. The car has never run better. I put 200 miles on it yesterday right after it was completed. Thanks M2 for uncompromised customer service. :2tu:

They left Dallas at 4pm yesterday so are still on the road as this post is entered. Have a safe trip guys.

The picture is offered as evidence to Wendy that Larry did indeed travel to Dallas to work on a Viper. As far as I know they went straight to bed each evening after a light snack. :D :usa:

This does NOT surprise me! Just refortifies my awe at the lengths some people will go to do the right thing, and take care of their customers (must be in the FLA water??). :) 2 thumbs up for Larry! :)

Everything was completely believable until you got to the "light snack" comment. I suppose if Oreo cookies are considered a "light snack" then it's true. LOL

Thanks for the great service Larry.

Three cheers for Larry. I have no doubt he is one of, if not the best Viper Techs. as well as delivers top notch engines and service. M2 is a icon to all other tuners.

Can't be Larry for customer service, he has even come to my house to help when I have tried to install my own parts and made a blunder. He always goes out to the track when we go to lend a helping hand. I'm with Chuck, if Lawrence was with him there are no light snacks, probably a bucket of angel wings from the Tai House in Orlando. Way to go Larry!

When I was at the V10 event in Topeka Macedo's team was very helpful with driving techniques. One of their drivers took my car for a few runs to give me an idea of what its potential was bone stock. Also gave me the 3-4 shift technique which seems to work.

Very nice bunch of guys!!

Larry is absolutly the best there is, no exceptions. Those of us who know and use him have also become great friends with him. No one will ever top his service.
But, I cant imagine anyone being couped up with Lawrence for that long of a time!! He deserves a big thumps up for that feat alone.

I'm baaaaaack! Jim, it was great to finally meet you and glad to hear you're happy, Sir. Thanks to all for the kind words, you guys are great!

PS to all... Super Dave ran a 12.5 @ 118 in Ohio with his Ram 1500 on the stock 22" wheels. Impressive! Can't wait to hear how he does on the new 18" wheels.

Larry and Lawrence what a pair! Just sorry Lawrence had to stop and *** like a little girl every 30 miles so you guys could not make the night out in PC on the way back home. By the way Lawrence I still have a pack of your Clove's and you are gonna owe big interest :D
All jokes aside Larry and M2 gets big props for just being great people as well as great tuners. :2tu:
See you guys in May!!
