There are probably a bunch of different methods, here is one approach. The procedure on a Gen 2 - after the install prior to starting the engine mount the valve covers with two screws on top and two on the bottom. Do not tighten the screws leave about an 1/8"-3/16" between the base of the screw head and the lip of the valve cover. Now start the engine and let it run for a 10-15 seconds. Remove the valve covers you will see slight marks where the rockers hit the baffle. Put a center punch on the marks and tap with a small hammer. Once again, with a Gen 2 and T&D's this works perfectly.
