i have a 09 vert does anyone have the alarm go off randomly... so far three times. once in the garage and once at the golf club.. also in a parking lot???

any feed back is appreciated.

As I recall, there have been several threads on similar issues. Suggest that you check/adjust hood switch as a first step.

LOL, so I'm NOT the only one that takes a Viper to the hardware store! I went to Home Depot in it today.

Its the hood switch that needs to be extended out. Longer.

taking a viper to the hardware store is fine.

using a viper to haul sheets of plywood or large volumes of lumber is the big no-no.

If you have an RT-10 with the top off it is easy to put a couple of railroad ties on top and have a great place to tie-down to be sure that you don't lose the load.

Just kidding. I have seen other cars doing worse. I assure you that I don't haul that kind of stuff in my Viper.

Mine used to go off after a wash... this was pretty common when i searched on it.
