I have the Mopar high temp blue wires (8.5 mm) and love them. I think they look great on a 96 GTS and they fit fine in the existing looms. Real cheap from Parts Rack too!

I think Albert has some 10mm Magnecors. You might want to check with him.

if you are not running an aftermarket higher-output ignition, the wires are purely a cosmetical upgrade. (are there any aftermarket coils to begin with?)

as it was said in a previous post, thicker wires are not necessary an upgrade. the only time you benefit from them is if your existing wires are worn out, cracked or arc at the plug connectors. but you can just go out and buy stock wires if thats the case

I have the 10mm Magnecor wires, mostly for cosmetics at this point. Rumor has it that the pure silicon wires will hold up to header exhaust heat better and that the Magnecors may keep their fastening integrity better when spark plugs are replaced frequently. Thicker insulation WILL reduce the chance of spark jump, although I have never heard of that being a problem on a Viper to begin with

I picked up the 10mm wires from Al on the board.
Also from a race shop i was able to get 10.5 mm red wire looms
so the engine will look awesome when install comes this spring.
the stock wire looms are tight from what I hear with the 10mm

I did if for the looks and yes I too hear they are better if you have headers due to the heat.

see if al clouber (sorry if i have your name wrong al) has any left .. great price....
