We are now stocking matched injector sets for the Gen 1 and Gen 2 Vipers.
Injectors are matched and flowed (flow sheet provided). Injectors include all new o-rings. Price is $299 a set exchange.

We have found that the flow rate of the Viper injectors vary quite a bit even when new. When properly matched and flowed they offer smoother engine operation and performance. Before and after flow specs are quite different.

Are you saying that when these engines leave the factory, they aren't within spec? That the injectors are not performing as designed and within tolerance?

What are the true benefits; proven (that can be verified), using "matched" injectors? What are the parameters you have used to judge smoother engine and performance operation? What is the percent of variance on the stock injectors flow rate and if this was really a problem, wouldn't dodge address the issue? They warranty the engines after all and would have a vested interest in keeping their engine's running trouble free.

The factory injectors have a certian acceptable variance
in flow. Just like different Vipers of the same model make
differing amounts of hp.

By balancing all the injectors to within a few cc's of flow the delivery becomes more balanced. This is what improves the operation. This has been used quite a bit in the import market. Idle quality is better and tip in throttle is crisper. No huge gains here just a more balanced fuel system.

I will post some flow numbers from before and after on
a set of injectors here to give you a better idea.

Thanks for the comment.

Here are the flow specs of a set of production injectors compared to a flowed and matched set.

Production (cc's) / Flowed and Matched

1. 257 1. 265
2. 255 2. 264
3. 257 3. 264
4. 253 4. 265
5. 254 5. 264
6. 252 6. 263
7. 262 7. 265
8. 255 8. 264
9. 252 9. 263
10.255 10.264

System balance 2.9 before System balance 0.7 after
Pds/Hr Static 120.9 before Pds/Hr Static 127.81 after

Spray Pattern: Good Spray Pattern:Excellent

As you can see the system is more balanced. No big gains here but in combination with other mods it adds up to more
performance.
