Meeting With Dealer Tomorrow

My local dealer called to let me know that they are going to be a Viper dealer and want to talk to me about buying one.

I was up at their show room after going to VOI and told the VP that the new Viper was great and I'd like to look into a new one at some point. I said that I would more than likely wait until the 14s came out because I didn't want to get caught up the initial frenzy and I was not going to pay over sticker to get one. That being said I'm going to go and talk to the sales manager and the VP of marketing.

The VP sent me an email saying to come up a little early because they are shooting one of their used car commercials and I could be on tv with my ACR

If we can come to terms, I'd go for the SRT, yellow with the toys...we'll see.

That's great! These things are selling like hotcakes in my area (Northern CA). All of my local dealer's allocation for this year were sold out the day ordering opened- last Monday. My dealer sold it to me at MSRP. I went with the GTS Blue Pearl with Silver stripes, and the Track Pack. I like that yellow, it's growing on me. Good luck.

My first one was an 02 GTS yellow with black stripes and really miss it, I do like the black and red of my ACR but I have a couple of other black and reds so I'd go back to "ole yeller.

Well it turned out pretty good, made a deal at MSRP and the order should go in Feb some time.

No one on this forum should pay over MSRP. Our supporting dealers all still have allocation remaining. Yellow with track pack is an awesome look! I think yellow is going to be a more popular color than in the past. Congrats!

Thanks and you are absolutely right but I have to make a choice between keeping the ACR or my ZR1 so the 13 Viper will replace the ACR.

Thanks, yeah I did see that I'd have to say goodbye to a vert as well BUT a ZR1 750 is just a horse of another color.
