Well, with all the hype surrounding NXT, I picked up a bottle this week and did a small section of my hood as a trial on Thurs night. The last time the car was waxed was about this time last year.

The ease of application of NXT is absolutely great, and when I buffed it off, the area had a great shine to it, with noticably fewer swirl marks. So far so good.

Fast forward two days. Had the car out both yesterday and today for quite some time. Upon returning home just now, I took a look at the hood. The section where the NXT had been applied was now more apparant than ever, because about 4x the pollen and dust had gathered on that section. You could literally see the outline of the section becuase the thick collection of pollen formed such a clear border. The rest of the car had some pollen on it as well, but like I said, the NXT section was about 3x to 4x more coated.

The ease of application is a great thing, but I just can't be happy with a wax that causes my car to turn green after two days becuase it attracts so much more dust and pollen.

I will likely be returning my NXT and putting the refund towards Zaino.

Yea old news.....

I don't care what the rep says about it either ...he is there to PROMOTE it...period!!!

It has silicone in it ..a lot..that is the reason for the dust collection...

Yea , easy on /off...but the durability and static properties ****

ZAINO and or PINNACLE...the BEST OUT THERE!!!!!!!

This time of year, there is so much pollen in the air, I would not be blaming any kind of wax for attracting it.
You cannot avoid nor repel it no matter what. I just power washed my deck yesterday and it is already turning yellow again from pollen and all my cars are loaded with it.
One car loaded with pollen after recent waxing and one car loaded with pollen that hasn't been waxed in 6 months....no difference in attraction here. just a lot easier to wash off recently waxed car.
It is just a bad time of year to try to keep cars clean from pollen and dust.

What happens if you put a top coat of detail spray over the NXT? Doesn't that have anti-static properties? Then you can use the NXT and have less static.

I use "Sprayaway" anti static spray that you can get at most electronic supply stores. An easier find would be from the laundry aisle at the supermarket.

Matt, do the Zaino thing, you won't be sorry. I will even give you a sample to try if you are a skeptic. It BLOWS everything else away.

I bought some this weekend too. I was thinking of putting a coat of Pinnacle on top of it. Anyone tried that?
