I was at a carshow this weekend and spoke to a very nice guy who said he was in the market for a Viper. He's looking to spend in the $27-32k range. He also has a EXTREMELY clean 94' yellow corvette convertible for partial trade if anyone is looking for a nice C4 (its been a show car only since he bought it 3 years ago). The only stuipulation he mentioned to me was he did not want a black car. If anyone knows of a Viper for sale that may be what this guy is looking for, PM me and i'll send you his contact info.

So basically, he wants a beat-to-hell POS Gen 1 Viper.

I was looking this summer for a Viper that was under $30k. Eventually I found a white and blue 96 with 35k miles for $30,100. It is at Tators now because it needs a new head gasket but besides that it got a good report and appears to be a solid and straight vehicle.

So they are out there. Unfortunatly, they seem to pop-up the most on ebay so finding one locally can take a while.

My Buddy bought a -93 early antenna with 9.000 miles, completely stock (no smooth tubes and original tires) for 32.500.
Yes, they are out there...

And why would you want a $4 ticket to Paris, looks like it's burning right now... How about Rome for 6 bucks? I'll go.

It is quite possible to get a nice GEN I for 32K. I paid 33K for mine. Even easier to do in the winter, which is when I bought mine.

If he has a couple k more, he might be able to get into my 98 RT/10 (in the classifieds) with HIGH mileage.

Up here in Ringgold there is a 1997 GTS that I think can be bought for $35,000. New paint that is very well done, red/wht stripes. Bone stock with a wing. Needs one bottom seat cover due to a dime size hole. It's at the dealer and does trade for a lot of Vettes.
