Michigan Mile Event 2013

As the title states. A few friends are putting together a mile event. Details are still be worked out but this thing is a go!

I will keep this thread updated as well as starting a new one once final pricing etc has been done.

So far:

What - 1 mile long race. On almost 2 mile long runway.

Where - W K Kellogg Airport Battle Creek, MI

When - July 6th 2013 and July 7th 2013 (Saturday & Sunday)

Who - Everyone! Open to the public! Races will be going on before/after an airshow. It will be one car at a time and roll races for those who choose (waivers will be provided etc)

Why - Why not?

Price - TBD. Looking in the $150-$200 range. Will include admission to race, airshow, carshow and possibly other goodies.

I am not involved with organizing the event just know the guys putting it together. This will be the first year so a lot details are being worked on.

The clayton half mile event is going to be happening sometime in September. The dates are not set yet.
