Bought a 2000 rt/10 black on black last night! This is the color combo I have always wanted from the start. I wonder if the fact that I had Gerald's Viper as my screensaver for the last 3 months had any influence? This is what I looked at for 10 hrs a day "Gerald's Viper"

Maybe it did influence me !

She is everything I thought she would be and more. Keep in mind I had never driven one until last night. After 30 seconds I was hooked. She is soooo beautiful. I barely slept last night and I have last 10 pounds in the last 2 months (this is a good thing ). My journey has ended, and new one begins today as an official owner and proud VCA member. 11 years of waiting ended last night.

I would like to thank CRAIG 201 MPH for his detailed e-mails. He told me everything about the Viper except the weather in Detroit when each one was being built (so knowledgeable)! . Bill P. who spent an hour of his own time to talk to me and make me feel comfortable with the car, and things to spot. Gerald who guided me in the right direction on how to get the certified Chrysler warranty and to make sure that I got it (to which I did, I,m good till April 2008 or 84600 miles). And the guy who helped me out the most Ryan (genxgts) with whom I have talked with alot and traded e-mails. This guy knows his stuff and is great to talk to! I have a hunch we will be seeing each other quite a bit this summer .

These are four class act guys, and I thank you. This is why this board is so great. And yes pic's are coming guys, I have to buy a digital camera today.

I am living the one of greatest moments of my life...

I think I will go to the dealership tonight just to stare at it. I have spent more time on this site in the last 3 months than I have in 3 years. The computer guy at work is freaking out because of the hours I spend on "non-work related sites". He is telling me that I signed a contract stipulating that internet is work related etc... I said this...

"Kevin, I like you. And someday I will let you ride in my Viper. Please ensure that my surfing privileges on the VCA site are not revoked". To which he agreed with a huge smile and said "ah ya?! Really? in your Viper"?

He paused and said that I had nothing more to worry about.

I haven't even got the car yet and it has already got me out of trouble...good stuff
