Mixing Race fuel VP 103 with 93oct ?

I bought 15gl LV 103 unleaded race fuel.
I want to test some agressive ignition settings on my SC viper.

When mixing this 103oct fuel with 93oct fuel in 50%/50% ratio how it will affect the global octane level ?

Should I get something like 103+93 / 2 = 98 oct ?

Or it is better to empty my fuel tank as much as possible ?

US gas is rated as Ron + Mon /2 = pump gas octane. Race gas often just quote Ron Rating. So for example, if the Ron was 103 and the Mon was 97 , it would be equivalent to a 100 pump gas ( which I think 76 sell in CA )

I don't want to mix and I don't want to drive 6 hours to empty my fuel tank. So the question is what happens if there is some fuel left in my tank.

Is it very bad or it will just reduce my fuel octan from 103 to 98 ?

Yes it will just reduce the octane, no other bad effects.
