Mobil 1 Sale Alert

FWIW -

Sears has a sale that started today (3/13) on Mobil 1 for $4.99/qt. I don't know if this is just in NY but I thought I would pass it on. I stopped-by the local Sears (on LI) today but they did not have 0W-40W. That really doesn't surprise me because I don't think Sears moves much oil to begin with(at least not in the volume that an auto parts store would). Maybe someone else will have better luck.

Don't know if price has changed recently, but Walmart carried 5 quart jugs for $22. That was the best deal I found.

It was Mobil 1. I looked around and they even were lower that their brother store Sam's Club. It was the weight specified which I don't think it was 0W40.

I guess what confuses me is why there is even a discussion on which oil to use. I just stick to OEM recommendations. They must have had a reason.
