mopar race exhaust on a gen 4?

Actually now that I think about it you cant even do the non foulers lol. Theres nowhere to even ***** the rear o2 sensors into so that wouldnt work. I hear on the gen 3 models people would tie the o2s to the frame of the car and leave them out but I dont know if that will work on a gen 4 or not.
With race pcm from mopar is it easy to program with the starscan? I’m located in south Jersey was thinking about getting the mopar race pcm

sorry for the delayed response havent been on here in a few weeks. yea its actually pretty easy. did it in maybe 30 minutes. definitely a worthwhile mod. besides the power increase and slightly better throttle feel, the initial startup sounds more like a proper sports car and less truckish, no more skip shift which is huge, and even the small increase in idle speed makes it even easier than stock to let the clutch out and be moving down the road with no gas pedal for those low speed or parking lot situations.

I know this thread is old but I just finished putting this exhaust on my '09 coupe. I really like it for the price I don't think you can really beat it. When I ordered it through my local Dodge dealer they said it was for the competition coupe I said my coupe is for competition. This thread was helpful. I have a Mopar ECU I need to have put on to go with this.

Really? I have the rear O2s on my setup, but that's full M&M headers into a Mopar race muffler set. The collectors have anti-foulers welded in (I didn't realize they were actually anti-foulers at first, just thought they were a **** until I looked closer. Maybe with factory manifolds you wouldn't have a spot, but I'd think you could weld a **** into the turnouts between the collectors and mufflers easily enough. Unless the gen 4 is way different there.

Wish I would have seen this before I went through all the stuff with my exhaust, lol. Mostly just because I had no idea the race mufflers were so long until I tried putting them in. I started cutting up my cats to convert them to 3" to try to quiet the car down just a hair and work on some of the exhaust smell. I though the race mufflers were basically just the street mufflers (what I already had on the car before), just 3" instead of 2.5". While they are very similar (same internal design to the muffler, which is one of the reasons I wanted them because I wanted to keep the same kind of sound on my car), they are much longer than a cat back system, so no way to get a cat in there unless it's the primary cat right off the stock manifolds.

While trying to find the best price there was a Mopar site that had these listed as "competition coupe only" I'm not sure if these are the comp coupe mufflers but it would make sense it has to meet sound regs

Yea on the Gen 4 there is no spot to put the o2 sensors in the factory manifolds they are all in the downpipes. the original downpipes have spots for 4 o2 sensors total. two precat and 2 postcat. the mopar race system only has spots for 2 precat sensors.
