I run a 300 shot on my car and it takes it just fine. You can even run a bigger shot but then you have to uograde your fuel system

Answer the Mike's question, how much horsepower does each gain and total gain? I want to know also.

Smooth tubes and K&N filters.
Catback exhaust.
Headers.
T&D 1.7 roller rockers.

actually, headers are a great mod. He has a 97 with the 708 cam and the 97's come with constricting manifolds. It's a very good mod for his car.

your right (my bad) I also have the 708 in my 99 but my manifolds were the "updated" ones so my gain was not too great however will pay off when I get the blower.

As far as how much eat mds will give???

Headers gave ME like 17 RWHP so I would guess for you maybe 25 RWHP
Cat back (mostly for sound) 15 RWHP
Rockers 23 - 27 RWHP ( need pushrods for these)
TB's without a blower 5 RWHP, WITH a blower from what I understand OVER 20 RWHP
3" Smooth tubes about 10 RWHP (need Roe air box for these)
Vec 2 (best bang for the buck IMO) the power will depend on how good your tuner is over 80 RWHP and OVER 100 RWTQ has been gained with the vec (detials on www.roeracing.com )

Also I would go with an aluminum flywheel it really wakes then gen 2's up and FEELS like an added 50 or so HP, and if your doing that you might as well change the clutch to a centerforce dual friction clutch.

Good luck

I'm calling B.S. on every single number you listed.

"like 17 RWHP" with headers? Well, what was it? And the brand matters.
15 RWHP from a catback???
You can actually lose horsepower from TBs or gain a lot, it depends on the combo.
Smooth tubes don't need the airbox.
VEC2's typically don't give anywhere near that. I gained 25 RWHP and 20 RWTQ and it was tuned by Sean Roe himself.
I'll agree that the aluminum flywheel feels like more power but 50 HP? Give me a break.

well go call B.S. on all the good tuners because THATS where I got my info from not out of the air.

As far as headers I MYSELF gained 17 RWHP with B&B after having them coated.

THATS B.S. you wont lose **** with TB's its a myth you wont gain much tho.

you DO need a Roe aitbox mod for the 3" smoothies as I said.

Vec 2 LOOK ON SEAN'S SITE, it says "Viper Gen 1 and 2 customers have experienced gains in excess of 60 HP and 115 FT/LBS torque!" so if you want to call B.S. have fun. ( sorry I thought 80 my bad)

Flywheel: SOME respected tuners say it feels like 100 HP (so again go call B.S. on them) MYSELF I say 50 or so, it well well worth it IMO.

I KNOW you just love to be a d!ck but enough is enough, if you come here purely to be a fu*kin pr!ck to people and call B.S. all day why come here????????

Considering your 97 Viper;

My Complete Exhaust.......50 hp

Nitrous...................175 hp

Rocker arms on your 97....2 hp

Throttle bodies...........-15-20 hp and - 20-50 ft/lbs

Intake/air filters........3-10 hp depending upon brand

It's easy to see that a complete exhaust system and a nitrous kit (about 4 grand) will put you over 600 hp at the wheels from your 400 +/- wheel hp now. I have literally hundreds of customers who have already done so.

It's also easy to see that rocker arms with your camshaft will do little good for you and throttle bodies without other serious internal modifications will actually TAKE AWAY power and torque.
